Disclaimer: Yes because in this day and age, every freaking thing has to have a disclaimer. We gave out participation throphies now a huge portion of our society, thinks its individual fishbowl experience of the world, represents the universe and all must comply to their singular understanding. To that, I say, Ha! And, no.

I was raised when television had first 4 channels, and then 7 channels, and then (this goes on like an old Herbal Essence Shampoo commercial). I watched Marilyn Monroe, Loni Anderson, Suzanne Summers, Farrah Fawcett, and, are you following the trend? A host of freaking smart ass Blonde women. Which is why I truly understand the essence behind, “having a blonde moment”. It’s the most wickedest of tricks. Lots of folks have been tagged with unpleasantries. I am not going down that list now. Just know, I see them with pride, puzzle pieces of me. And I will join the, “some of my best friends are black” cliche by saying, “some of my closest friends are blonde.” So, there’s my pass if you can’t accept my logic that it is how I represent making a mistake, that I should have known but had know way of knowing. Are you following yet? It isn’t a mistake. I didn’t know.

So, now on to the moment.

I scheduled the Premiere of Memory Dial. I thought it would just notify subscribers that there was going to be a new video to see. The whole thing is a work in progress but if I wait for it to be “perfect”, no one would ever see it. So, I put it up. And then I got a notice about Live Chat. Ah, wait, what? Like now, I have to be there and experience one of two completely unknown scenarios, but gut wrenching in their own way.

1. No one logs in at the exact time. Folks are on different time zones. Oh no… I set it for 9pm Central.. That’s 7 in California, 8 in North Carolina, oh shoot. OK.
2. Only 4 people log in at the exact time. But that’s also OK. People have had live performances and no one shows up. I just have to set through it and I like the episode.

Now, I am driven by both scenarios. I have to market the exact time, not just come on the 28th, I have market that there’s a live chat and find moderators. I have to build the term block list, the slo mo timing. OK, I can do that. Never done it. But when has that ever stopped me, lol.
